“Strawberries & Asparagus” is a community celebration of all things green. This day-long festival in Toronto’s Cedarvale Park promotes public space, local and organic food, local sustainable business, nature appreciation, music, and fitness & health. Come along and enjoy

a marketplace for green businesses and environmental organizations
This not-for-profit event is organized each year by EvolutionGreen.Com and human capital partner Green Neighbours 21, a grass-roots environmental group in Toronto’s Ward 21.

There is also an Inorganic Market™ taking place – you can drop off used or broken electronic items for free recycling. Laptops, desktops, iPods, mp3 players, cell phones and more will be collected. Come out, meet the community, and enjoy the fun!

Earth Hour in Toronto and at the Toronto Real Estate Board


At 8 p.m. this Saturday, millions of people in cities around the world will turn off their lights for Earth Hour - a global lights out initiative led by WWF to show support for action on climate change.

Toronto is the lead Canadian city participating in Earth Hour, and it is partnering with WWF-Canada, the Toronto Star, and Virgin Mobile to make it a success.
The Toronto Real Estate Board is doing their part, and so am I. TREB will be turning out the lights and has deeper green initiatives under way. I am having an Earth Hour party at my place in case you are interested in joing in give me a call or dop me an e-mail.

The City of Toronto’s goal is to have more than one million residents and businesses participate by turning off non-essential lighting for just one hour. Please join in the fun! Red on…

Toronto Real Estate Board joins Earth Hour


March 12, 2008—On March 29th, TREB will participate in ‘Earth Hour.’ That evening, from 8pm to 9pm homes and businesses around the world will turn out their lights in a symbolic gesture to combat climate change. TREB is encouraging all offices and Members to participate in Earth Hour as well.
