Jan 29th 2007 Solar Hot Water public meeting

The meeting on January 29th will be focused on confirming the next steps and timeline our group would like to pursue toward getting a solar water heater for their homes.

We have met with the team leading the WISE program and have some options we’d like to discuss with you.  The meeting will be a casual discussion and will hopefully result in creating an “Energy Committee” who will work with Dan Adirim of the Board of TGC to develop the details of this energy pilot which will include pre-survey, home audits, development of an RFP, selection and negotiation with a vendor, assessment, installation and post installation surveys.

Firm commitments to proceed with a solar water heater assessment will likely be required as an input to the RFP.  Firm commitments to proceed with a solar water heater installation will likely be required prior to negotiating pricing with the vendor.

Even if you are still undecided about solar water heating your attendance will definitely provide valuable input into the direction of the TGC Energy Committee.

If you have any questions or would like to RSVP for the meeting please contact us at 416-781-7663 or email info@ntgc.ca
