St. Paul’s Riding All Candidates’ Meeting on the Environment - Sep 26

What will the next Ontario government do to curb climate change and plan our energy future?

Ontario must play a leadership role in Canada if we are to effectively deal with the environmental challenges we face.  We need effective, quality public policy and action on climate change and energy issues.  Ontarians have said that the environment is the number one most important issue to them personally when determining whom to vote for on October 10, 2007 (Environics Research, June 2007).

What steps will each party take to maximize energy conservation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Ontario? How does each party propose to balance nuclear, coal, hydro and renewable sources in determining energy generation policy?  And what are their specific targets and timelines for greenhouse gas reductions for Ontario?

Hear what your candidates in the upcoming provincial election have to say.

St. Paul’s Riding All Candidates’ Meeting on the Environment will take place:

Wednesday, September 26th
7:15 – 9:00 pm
Holy Rosary Parish Hall
356 St. Clair Ave. W.
(just east of St. Clair West subway station, north side of St. Clair)
